In this study researcher mainly deals with the socio-economic status and identification of the factors influencing the socio-economic status of Bodo people of Udalguri district. Principal Components Analysis (PCA) and step-wise logistic regression model are used for finding out the socioeconomic ranking and the factors influencing socioeconomic status. The study ends with conclusion and policy prescriptions.
