Chabukdhara M, Nema AK, Heavy metals assessment in urban soil around industrial clusters in Ghaziabad, India: Probabilistic health risk approach, 2013: Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Vol: 87, p57-64

The paper investigates the effect of heavy metal contamination in the urban soil of the industrial city of Ghaziabad. The mean concentrations of metal from the soil was compared to the concentrations from major cities across the world . Hazard index and the cancer risk among children were also estimated. The results indicate the effects of rapid industrialization and urbanization that the city under went in the last few decades.
