This paper investigated the long term health effects on women exposed to conflict in Peru from 1980s to 2000. The study points out that the while women who were exposed to conflict in utero had long lasting impact on their long term health indicator such as height, no long-term effects on short term health (anemia and Body Mass Index (BMI)) or psychosocial indicators.
