We present a very interesting chapter from the book, “A community guide to environmental health”, which talks in a very simple and engaging manner, the need to protect natural resources for all. They state inequality s the cause and effect of environmental health problems and disregard the explanation that all the problems are due to “too many people and too little resources”. Instead they identify the unfair distribution of resources as the root cause of all problems. They clearly bring out the impact of corporate control on health and advocate for building sustainable community institutions for fair and equal control of natural resources.
